Marrakesh:
One of your first pit stops. Your journey starts from Casablanca where you travel to Marrakesh. When in Marrakesh, visit the gorgeous Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia Minaret, the Menara Garden and the animated Djemaa El Fna square. Take a leisurely walk through the World Heritage Site Medina, shop at the souks lining the walkway or sit back and relax at any café with a hot cuppa joe.
Casablanca:
At Casablanca, tour the second largest mosque in the world the Hassan II mosque, the Royal Palace Gate and the Corniche. On the 4th day travel to Morocco’s capital city Rabat and take in a panoramic tour of the city including the palaces, markets, and more.
Tangier, Seville Lisbon:
On day 5 take a ferry to the South of Spain through the Bay of Gibraltar and reach Seville. In Seville visit the Christopher Columbus tomb and cathedral, the Giralda Tower with Moorish influences, the Santa Cruz Quarter with blossom adorned galleries, snap a quick memory at the 12th century Moorish Royal Palace the Alcazar and get a chance to see the scale model of “the Victoria” the first vessel to orbit the globe. What’s more, enjoy a fabulous dinner with a Flamenco Show. Travel to Lisbon, the capital of Portugal the next day.
Lisbon, Fatima and Salamanca:
The town of seven hills-Lisbon is home to the Belem Tower -a monument to the discoveries, and Castelo de Sao Jorge, Baixa and the Tomb of Vasco-da-Gama. At Fatima, visit the Basilica of Our Lady, the Parish Church and the House of Lucia, important places for Catholics. Take a city tour of Salamanca next and then get ready to visit Madrid.
Madrid, Toledo, Barcelona:
Once in Madrid, walk through the Royal Palace, experience the Plaza de Espana, Cervantes Statue, Sabatini Garden, the Cibeles fountain and more. Next on your itinerary is the UNESCO World Heritage Site Toledo – well-known for its all-embracing ethnic and immense legacy and historical cohabitation of Christian, Muslim and Jewish beliefs. From Toledo, it’s back to Madrid and then to Barcelona.
Barcelona:
On the 13th day, take in the city of Barcelona and visit Gaudi’s Sagrada Familia Cathedral the Olympic stadium, colourful La Ramblas, Statue of Christopher Columbus. Enjoy a cable car ride to Montjuic hill to catch a panoramic glimpse of the Tibidabo hill and the city. Visit the beautiful Montjuic Castle and take a stroll on the waterfront and shop for trinkets and souvenirs. The next day on a flight back to your city.
